An ardent devotee of Rama, he is one of the central characters of the Hindu epic Ramayana.
Hanuman is considered as the god of wisdom, strength, courage, devotion and self-discipline. T
he gada is the main weapon of the Hanuman. He is usually seen holding the gada in his right hand or left hand.
Hanuman is adorned with a divine mark (V shaped) on his forehead, called the Namam.
