The statue depicts Shiva seated in padmasana, with upper right hand holding damar and upper left holding the agni, lower right hand in abhaya mudra and lower left palm facing upwards on the folded legs.
The floral pattern on the head-rest behind, the neatly sculptured matted hair locks, the crescent moon, the holy river Ganga flowing down the matted hair, the tripundra and third eye, the jewels adorning the God are the distinct features of this piece of art.
