Ardhanarishvara, a unique form of Shiva, the lord who is half-woman.
The right half is Lord Shiva the male figure, with upper right hand holding damaru (drum), lower right hand in vitarka mudra.
The tripundra and third eye on the male-half forehead, the serpent around his neck, the tiger skin attire and the anklet in his foot are neatly carved.
Goddess Parvathi, the female half has been depicted with the upper hand holding a half-bloomed lotus and the lower hand holding a piece of her clothing.
Her beautiful ornaments, curvier figure, well developed round bosom and a narrow waist, silk attire with floral patterns in between the folds, covering her waist flowing down to the ankle.
The chakra like back rest and the crown of the god has been distinctly carved with different floral and line patterns.
The statue is supported by a curved rectangular pedestal.
