    The statue depicts Vishnu sitting on the serpent demigod Adishesha, with Lakshmi sitting next to him.
    The small pedestal is the Ocean of Milk (Thiruparkadal) on which Adishesha floats carrying Vishnu & Lakshmi.
    The statue has been intricately carved with great attention to details such as the hoods of the serpent, the crown, ornaments and attire, physical features of Vishnu & Lakshmi.
    In the statue Vishnu is seen holding the Chakra (Sudarshana) in the upper right hand, Conch shell in the upper left hand but behind Lakshmi, the lower right hand in Vitarka Mudra and the lower left around Lakshmi’s waist.
