Patanjali, a great sage, well known for his work "Patanjali Yoga Sutra", a classical yoga text.
The statue depicts the sage in Anjali mudra, his lower half is surrounded by the thick coils of a serpent that rised up over his head with five hooded cobra heads.
The statue is supported by a smal pedestal.
