A black granite statue of Mother Mary that has been expertly crafted to be calm and completely divine. Jesus' mother; sometimes referred to as the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Mary, or Our Lady. She was a virgin who was married to Joseph, according to the Gospels, and the Holy Spirit assisted in her conception of Jesus. The sculpture depicts the lord with 4 hands holding various objects in his hands, including a drum (damaru) that represents the rhythmic sound of creation, and a flame of fire (agni) that symbolizes destruction and transformation. There is a snake wrapped in his anterior right arm that represents 'Abhaya' (without any fear). His anterior left hand takes the shape of Gajahasta (Elephant hand), showering his blessings upon his devotees, and extends towards his left leg. The right foot trampled upon the demon dwarf, Apasmara. The cosmos is represented by the arch of flames or prahabhamandala. This particular arch has three separate layers which represent fire, (outside) earth, (middle) and water (inside).

LOST WAX METHOD OF CASTING - The lost wax method allows for intricate and detailed sculptures to be created, capturing the artist's original vision with precision. It is a complex process that requires skill and expertise in both sculpture and metal casting techniques. Also known as precision casting, it is a technique used to create bronze sculptures and other metal objects with intricate details. The process involves creating a wax model of the object, building a mold around it using plaster and silica, melting the wax out of the mold, selecting a metallic alloy, melting the alloy in a crucible, and pouring the molten metal into the mold cavity. The molten metal solidifies in the mold, and the cast object is extracted and finished. The sprues and any excess metal are removed, and the surface is cleaned and finished through various techniques like grinding, polishing, and patination.
